Outdone.
Although last year’s Christmas present from Ally was impressive, get ready for THIS.
Normally, Ally and I enjoy shopping for each other- we wear the same size, like the same style, and are the only 2 in our sibling-hood who remember to get each other presents for special holidays. Daniel normally chips in half of the cost which means Ally and I know we can get something nice :)

This Christmas is:
realizing there are certain traditions you should sort of just let go of.
being glad that there is always room for new ones!
accepting the fact that i am always going to be one of those people that purchases 75% of Christmas gifts on December 24th.
celebrating advent in the ever more frequent moments of seeing that I am indeed waiting for something.
also, this Christmas is treating myself...

I am also noticing that my ability to multi-task (i.e. e-mail people while leaving voice messages) is declining rapidly.
The last message I just left was to a man named Adrian. It sounded like this: “Hi Greg, My name is Sarah- [click]”
and then i hung up.
